About the event
Wear your comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat and/or towel, and join us for this event focused on your pelvic floor! Â There will be time for movement, learning, and building community. Â This event is geared toward pregnant and postpartum people, and will be lead by Michelle Wall of Moms in Motion PT.
Learn:
- Where is the pelvic floor and what’s the big deal?Â
- What is diastasis recti? Do I have it? Does it matter?
- Do I need to avoid certain exercises after having a baby?
- Should I be doing kegels?
- What types of exercises are the best for the pelvic floor?
After the lecture, Michelle will teach how to do a self check for diastasis recti, and go around to each person and confirm if you have it or not.
We'll finish with a 30 min core and pelvic floor focused workout.
